– Responsibilities

As a Warehouse & Logistics Administrator, you will be able to work on your own initiative and make decisions that affect both your career and the business.

You’ll be responsible for –

  • Undertaking all administrative duties associated with the goods in & out departments as requested.
  • To complete all administration accurately.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally at all times to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • To understand stock data entry and appropriate procedures for the correct data to be recorded on the system and ensure processes are fully adhered to.
  • To ensure the accurate entry of all data on the relevant systems.
  • Ensure all loads are complete in time to ship.
  • Keep the entire team abreast of daily needs and schedules.
  • Ensure all loads are virtually and physically correct before end of day.
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and correct prior to having signed by carriers.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in achieving goals for the department.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • General housekeeping to ensure our warehouse standards are met in a safe and professional manner.

 

– Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • You must have strong customer service skills, with a good level of written and verbal communication.
  • You must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
  • You must be flexible to change, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • You must have understanding of the Microsoft office packages, and be computer literate.
  • You must be able to accept additional challenges and responsibilities.
  • You must be willing to step in and help in other areas when required.
  • You must have previous administrative expereince.
  • You must be able to deal with calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • You must be able to deal with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning etc.
  • You must be able to maintain filing records daily and keep a well organised system.
  • You must have strong organisational skills.
  • You must be resilient, persistent, tenacious and have good problem solving abilities.

Desirable:

  • Commercial Awareness
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of warehouse/transport procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of sage systems
